Brief Description Of Work -  the Region Is Inviting Bids For The Prequalification Of General Contractors For The Southeast Collector Corrosion Control Facility Upgrade, As Further Described In Section A Of The Rftc Particulars (appendix A) (the “deliverables”). Meeting: a Non-mandatory Bidder's Site Meeting Will Be Held On Monday May 6, 2024 Commencing At 1:00pm At The Sec Corrosion Control Facility, 7945 9th Line, Markham, On L6b 1a8. all Bidders Are Encouraged To Submit Any Questions To The Region Using The ‘submit A Question’ Feature In The Bidding Website Before Or After The Information Meeting. Although The Meeting Is Not Mandatory It Is highly Recommended. Bidders Are Prohibited From The Use Of Any Technology, Including Without Limitation Artificial Intelligence, To Record The Content Of Any Bidders Meeting.  failure To Adhere To This Rule May Result In The Disqualification Of The Bidder And The Rejection Of Their Bid. Bidders Are Required To Have Their Ppe, Such As Hard Hat, Vest And Steel-toe Boots At The Sites. Mandatory Requirements: Certificate Of Recognition (cortm): Any Bids Received From Bidders Who Are Not Cortm Certified, Who Have Not Obtained Cortm Equivalency Or Who Have Not Submitted A Valid Letter Of Reciprocity Shall Be Rejected From Further Consideration.
