The class eligibility requirement to bid or participate in this tender includes Class 1 C (only BE/Engineering graduates), Class II (Diploma Engineers), and Class III contractors.

The bid capacity required in the given tender to bid can be calculated using the formula: Bidding Capacity = 2A - (B+C) Where, A = Maximum turnover in any one year during the last three years B = Value of existing commitments/liabilities of all ongoing works awarded to the bidder remaining to be completed. C = Value of existing Tender. Additionally, a bidder will get a maximum contract/contracts of value 2 (two) times of the bidder’s highest Annual Turnover in any of the preceding last 3(three) years. Also, the bidder needs to have an available bid capacity at the time of bidding not less than the total package value to qualify. In case a bidder has already been awarded work equal to twice his Annual Turnover of the last 3(three) years but has received some running payment against those works, the bidder would be eligible to bid for new works to the extent of payments already received by him. For package value more than Rs.5.00 crores: - The bidder/ contractor should have at least 1(one) single Civil work order of value not less than 60% of the package value or - 2 (two) works equaling 70% of package value. For package value up to Rs.5.00 crore: - The bidder/ contractor should have at least 1(one) single civil work order of value not less than 50% of the package value. Additionally, the Annual Turnover for Civil works only should not be less than the package value, considering the maximum turnover of any one of the last five years. Formulas: - Single work order value ≥ 0.6 * Package Value (for package value > Rs.5.00 crores) - Total value of 2 works ≥ 0.7 * Package Value (for package value > Rs.5.00 crores) - Single work order value ≥ 0.5 * Package Value (for package value ≤ Rs.5.00 crores) - Annual Turnover ≥ Package Value - Bidding Capacity = 2A - (B+C) Where, A = Maximum turnover in any one year during the last three years B = Value of existing commitments/liabilities of all ongoing works awarded to the bidder remaining to be completed.
