Bids Received After The Specified Time Will Not Be Considered. The Work To Be Performed Is Located Along The North Shore Of Vermilion Bay Adjacent To The Mouth Of The Boston Canal. The Base Bid Consists Of Constructing Approximately 17,400-linear Feet Of Rock Dike Consisting Of Approximately 65,000-tons Of Rip-rap And Approximately 45,000-square Yards Of Woven Geotextile Fabric. The Work Shall Be Performed In Accordance With The Specifications And In Conformity To Lines, Grades, And Elevation Shown In The Plans Or As Directed By The Engineer. No Pre-bid Conference Will Be Held (la R.s. §38:2212). Only The Bids Of Contractors Licensed Under Louisiana Contractor’s Licensing Law Will Be Considered For Bids Exceeding $50,000.00.
