Ozzard Environmental 640 Warren Way, Tofino. B.c. V0r 2z0 Ozzard Environmental Is The Local Provider Of Waste And Recycling Collection For The Tofino And Ucluelet Region And Is Responsible: • To Provide Collection And Disposal Of All General Waste And Recyclables From Tofino General Hospital, With Separation, Sorting Of Recyclables To Ensure Diversion From Landfill. • Provision Of Bins/containers For The Safe, Effective, And Animal Protected Outdoor Collection And Storage Of Waste And Recycling. • Provide Reporting On Waste And Recyclable Weights. Island Health Authority Has Chosen Not To Proceed With A Competitive Process For The Following Reasons: 1. Limited Vendors To Provide The Service In The Tofino/ucluelet Region. 2. In Keeping With Islh Mission To Reduce Carbon Emissions, Island Health Authority Would Like To Mitigate Unnecessary Vehicle Mileage For Such Services. Vendors Who Wish To Challenge This Decision Must Provide Specific Reasons For Their Objection. The Letter Must Outline The Reasons For Your Objection And Must Demonstrate Your Ability To Provide The Contemplated Work/service, Availability, And Resources.
