The required prior work experience for the bidder includes completing similar works within the last seven years. The bidder should have completed at least three similar works each costing not less than 40% of the cost of the current job, or two similar works each costing not less than 50% of the cost of the current job, or one similar work costing not less than 80% of the cost of the current job. This applies to various types of work such as pile work, aluminum work, steel structure work, metallic roofing work, and water proofing work. The bidder should furnish information regarding prior work experience, including a list of all works of similar nature successfully completed during the last seven years, and particulars of completed works and performance duly authenticated/certified by an officer not below the rank of Executive Engineer/Project Manager or equivalent. The values and percentages mentioned include: - 40% of the cost of the current job - 50% of the cost of the current job - 80% of the cost of the current job Additionally, the bidder should have had an average annual financial turn over (gross) of minimum 30% of tendered cost in Civil/Electrical construction work during the last available three-year consecutive balance sheets. The bidder should also have experience in similar class of works completed and should not have incurred any loss in more than two years during available last five consecutive balance sheets. The bidding capacity of the contractor should be equal to or more than the estimated cost of the work put to tender. The bidder should also have completed one work of any nature costing not less than 40% of the tendered cost with some Central/State Government Department or Reputed private entities. The value of executed works shall be brought to current costing level by enhancing the actual value of work at a rate given for different financial years, with escalation/enhancement factors ranging from 1.00 to 1.42.
