This Request For Supplier Qualification (rfsq) Is An Invitation By Simon Fraser University (“sfu”) To Prospective Proponents (the “proponents”) To Submit Their Response In Compliance With This Rfsq. The Purpose Of This Rfsq Is To Establish A List Of Qualified Construction Managers That Sfu Will Use To Deliver Specific Requests For Invitations To Bid For Work, Or To Directly Award Work At Sfu’s Burnaby, Surrey And Vancouver Campuses. The Services Of Construction Managers Will Include Services As Required In Connection With Works To Be Completed For Various Buildings And Infrastructure, Among Other Matters. (see Rfsq Section 2.3 Scope Of Work For Further Details.) Subject To The Provisions Of This Rfsq And Other Existing Sfu Rules And Policies Sfu Intends To Award Work To Qualified Construction Managers On “as-and-when” Basis. Work May Include Capital Projects, Repair, Renewal, Maintenance And Emergency Works, Exterior Additions/alterations, Interior Tenant Improvements, Retrofits As Well As Refurbishment Projects.
