The structure, which was originally built as a single-field sports hall, was converted over the years into a three-field sports hall with social wings. When parallel sports lessons are held, separation into 3 sports areas is possible using lowerable dividing curtains. The building was built in the southern area of the school property. The access takes place from the Knabeweg (east side) and from the Harderweg (west side). Adjacent to the centrally located three-field sports hall are the social wings on the east and west sides. There are changing rooms, toilets and shower areas separately for girls and boys, as well as a toilet and changing area for teachers. Furthermore, the equipment rooms and a barrier-free toilet are located in the social wings. The current use of the building is as a sports hall for the Lise-Meitner-Gymnasium in Hamburg Altona. The structure was built in solid construction with exposed concrete facade curtain elements, as well as a flat roof as a cold roof (the thermal insulation is above the suspended sports hall ceiling). It is planned to repair the three-field sports hall as follows: - Renewal of all windows - Renewal and insulation of the roof covering of the hall roof as well as the area around the edge of the hall roof. (conversion into a warm roof). - Renewal of the rain drainage of the hall roof - Complete renovation of all sanitary facilities. - Renewal of the floor coverings in the changing rooms. - Renewal of the electrical installations in the changing rooms. - Renewal of the heating installations in the changing rooms. - Renewal of plumbing installations. - Renewal of all external doors. -repair of interior doors. - Renewal of all tile coverings including partial renewal of screed and plastered surfaces - Installation of a wheelchair-accessible toilet - Renewal of the ceilings in some areas (entrance corridors) - Renewal of all paintwork in the changing rooms. In order to ensure partial use of the sports hall, the construction project will be carried out in three construction phases: 1.ba East changing room wing: November 2023 - April 2024 2.ba West changing room wing: April 2024 - September 2024 3.ba Hall: June 2024 - October 2024 The construction site is Accessible from Haderweg and Knabeweg via a parking lot or fire department access. The replacement on Grellkamp will result in a major restructuring of the location. Administrative areas, a vital kitchen and cafeteria area, as well as classes and specialist rooms find their new place in the two-story building. The spacious area of the cafeteria and common area with a stage is a ground floor meeting place. Four large compartments will be built on the upper floor, which will be accessed with staircases in between with necessary corridors. Heat is generated via district heating, and PV panels are built on the roof surfaces. The new building will receive funding for climate-friendly new building (kfn) and will be certified as Dgnb Gold. The chosen supporting structure as a mixture between reinforced concrete construction and wooden construction favors the construction period and allows for later conversions as well as the use of sustainable building materials.
