1.1.1 Public Health Funerals Are Provided By Local Authorities For People Who Have Passed Away And Have No Next Of Kin, Or Who's Next Of Kin, Relatives Or Friends Are Unable Or Unwilling To Make The Necessary Arrangements For A Funeral. They Are Designed To Protect Public Health And Are Important In Ensuring That All Individuals Are Treated With Dignity And Respect, Regardless Of Their Circumstances. Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council Are Looking For A Suitable Single Organisation Who Would Be Able To Provide Funerals In Line With Section 46 (of The Public Health Act (control Of Disease Act) 1984 Specifies A Statutory Duty To Arrange A Burial Or Cremation Where No Suitable Arrangements Are Being Made.

Damp Proof Services

The Contract Covers Attending To Council Owned Properties To Conduct A Damp Survey Following A Referral From The Cic Team. Following A Survey, The Incumbent Will Supply A Full Detailed Report (as Set Out In The Service Requirements) Which Details Their Findings And Any Remediation Works Required. Remediation Costs Will Also Be Supplied. Once The Cic Team Gives The Incumbent Authorisation To Proceed With The Works, The Incumbent Will Be Responsible For Arranging Access With The Tenant, Carrying Out All The Works In Line With Our Service Requirements As Well As Liaising With Tenant At Pre-commencement Stage To Ensure A Smooth Transition Of Works With Minimal Disruption To Both The Incumbent And The Tenant. The Incumbent Will Be Responsible For All Management, Supervision And Health And Safety Costs Associated With Each Job.
