The required prior work experience for the bidder includes having experience in successfully completing or substantially completing at least one contract of highway (road and/or bridge works) or airport runway of at least 40 percent of the value of the proposed contract within the last five years. Substantially completed works mean those works which are at least 90% completed, with a gross value of work done up to the last date of submission being 90% or more of the original contract price. The bidder should also have achieved a minimum annual financial turnover, defined as billing for works in progress and completed in all classes of civil engineering construction works only, in any one year, over the last five years, of the annual value of the contract or contracts applied for. Regarding the value and percentage of similar works completed, the bidder should have experience in successfully completing or substantially completing at least one contract of highway (road and/or bridge works) or airport runway of at least 40 percent of the value of the proposed contract. The substantially completed works should be at least 90% completed. Additionally, the bidder is required to have liquid assets and/or availability of credit facilities equal to 25% of the Tender Amount, and the percentage rate tender is up to INR 50 Cr.
