The bidder is required to have prior work experience in civil engineering constructions, specifically in highway (road and/or bridge works) or airport runway. They should have achieved a minimum annual financial turnover of the annual value of contract/contracts applied for in any one year over the last five years. Additionally, they should have experience in successfully completing or substantially completing at least one contract of similar work with a value of at least 40 percent of the proposed contract within the last five years. The substantially completed works should be at least 90% completed, with a gross value of work done up to the last date of submission being 90% or more of the original contract price. The bidder should provide information on the total value of civil engineering constructions performed in the last five years, with a breakdown of the value of contracts completed. The value of similar works completed is mentioned in terms of the "Value of Works remaining to be completed" and the bidder needs to provide information on the "Quantity of work performed" and "Remarks" for similar works completed. The bidder also needs to provide a "Certificate (s) from the Engineer(s) in-charge" for the works completed, which may include information on the amount and percentage of similar works completed. A specific mention is that the "Percentage to apply the value of the work not completed representing the Employer’s additional cost for completing the Works shall be 20 per cent."
