The required prior work experience for the bidder includes completion of similar works. The bidder should have satisfactorily completed at least one similar work of minimum value of 10% of the Estimated cost of work during the last 7 years prior to the last stipulated date for submission of the Bid. Alternatively, the bidder should have executed at least one of the Key Activities mentioned under Construction Experience in Key Activities. For joint ventures, each partner should have satisfactorily completed in their own name or proportionate share as a member of a Joint Venture, at least one similar work of minimum value of 10% of the Estimated cost of work during the last 7 years prior to the last stipulated date for submission of the Bid. The bidder should have also completed at least one Similar work of value minimum 40% of estimated cost of work, in India in the last seven years prior to the last stipulated date for submission of the Bids, or minimum 25% of estimated cost of work for certain types of works. In terms of specific values, the bidder should have completed a similar work of at least Rs 2,49,00,095/- OR at least two similar works each of minimum value of Rs 1,53,23,136/- during the last 7 years prior to the last stipulated date for submission of the Bid. For substantially completed works, the total gross amount already paid, including the PVC amount (if paid), shall be considered as the cost of substantially completed work, provided that payment equal to or more than 90% of the present contract value has been made. A weightage of 7% (compounded annually) shall be given for equating the value of key activity to the last stipulated date for submission of the Bids. For example, if a similar work was completed for Rs 1,00,000/- on 31.12.2017 and the last stipulated date for submission of the bids was 31.08.2020, the value of the work that shall be considered after giving a weightage is Rs 119833/-.
