The Film Will Cover The Learning Outcomes Outlined Below And Be Easily Accessible For Residents And Professionals Living Or Working In Nottingham And Nottinghamshire Via The Suicide Prevention And Self-harm Awareness Pages Of The Nottinghamshire County Council Website And Any Other Websites As Agreed By The Commissioners. The Film Will Aim To: - Provide Entry-level, Foundational Knowledge And Awareness Of The Topics Of Self-harm And Suicide Bereavement. - Provide An Awareness Of The Magnitude In The Local Context (including Prevalence Numbers And Statistics) - Understand And Reduce The Stigma And Discrimination (including The Role Of Language In Perpetuating Stigma) - Increase Knowledge Of Types Of Support And Where To Access Information On Local Services. - Support Individuals To Recognise And Understand Their Own Emotions. - Empower Individuals With The Knowledge And Skills To Support Their Own Mental Wellbeing As Well As Others. - Increase Confidence Of Individuals To Initiate Conversations On Self-harm And Bereavement By Suicide And To Ask For Help. - Understand The Links Between Mental Health, Self-harm And Suicide.
