 this Request For Proposal (the “rfp”) Is An Invitation By The Regional Municipality Of Niagara (“niagara Region”) To Prospective Proponents To Submit Proposals For Completion Of A Detailed Design For Hurricane Road Sewage Pumping Station Upgrades, as Further Described In Section A Of The Rfp Particulars (appendix B) (the “deliverables”).  Introduction The Hurricane Road Sewage Pumping Station (sps) Is Located In The Town Of Pelham And Was Originally Constructed In 1971, With Upgrades Taking Place In 2012. The Facility Consists Of An Underground Wet/dry Well Structure With Two Pumps, One Duty And One Standby, Each With A Rated Capacity Of 39 L/s. The 2021 Water And Wastewater Master Servicing Plan (wwwmsp) Identified The Need For A Capacity Increase At The Station To Meet Future Demands. This Rfp Is Being Issued To A Subset Of The Successful Roster Listing Developed From Contract 2023-rfsq-184 Specifically Category 9
