The required prior work experience for the bidder includes work performed as a prime contractor on construction works of a similar nature and volume over the last 5 to 7 years. The bidder needs to provide a certificate from the Engineer-in-charge for this work, with details such as project name, name of the employer, description of work, value of contract, contract number, date of issue of work order, stipulated date of completion, actual date of completion, and remarks explaining reasons for delay, if any. The bidder should have successfully and satisfactorily completed or substantially completed similar works, with specific requirements including: - At least three similar completed works, each costing not less than 40% of the Estimated Project Cost. - At least two similar completed works, each costing not less than 50% of the Estimated Project Cost. - One similar completed work costing not less than 80% of the Estimated Project Cost. The bidder should also provide information on their total annual volume of civil engineering construction work executed and payments received in the last five years preceding the year in which bids are invited, certified by a Chartered Accountant. Additionally, the bidder needs to have a certain amount of liquid assets and/or credit facilities, with a minimum amount of 10% of the contract value.
