The class eligibility requirement to bid or participate is “A” class.

To determine the bid capacity required, we look at specific financial requirements. The bid capacity can be derived from conditions such as the completion of similar works with specific cost criteria, average annual turnover, and the submission of a solvency certificate with a minimum value. The completion of similar works can be based on three conditions: - Three similar completed works, each costing not less than 40% of the estimated cost, - Two similar completed works, each costing not less than 50% of the estimated cost, - One similar completed work, costing not less than 80% of the estimated cost. The average annual turnover during the last 3 years should be at least 30% of the estimated cost. The bidder should submit a solvency certificate with a minimum value of at least 20% of the total estimated cost. Formulas for solvency certificate values include 20% of the tendered cost plus the amount of works on hand still to be executed, or 20% of the amount of work put to tender for co-operative societies. Given these conditions, the bid capacity required can be summarized as follows: 1. Completion of similar works with costs: - 3 works * 40% of estimated cost - OR 2 works * 50% of estimated cost - OR 1 work * 80% of estimated cost 2. Average Annual Turnover: 30% of Estimated Cost 3. Solvency Certificate: 20% of total estimated cost These are key financial and work experience capacities required for a bidder to be eligible.
