The important information given under the technical capacity header which is specifically related to prior work experience includes: * Total value of Civil Engineering construction work performed in the last five years. * Work performed as prime contractor, work performed in the past as a nominated subcontractor will also be considered provided the sub-contract involved execution of all main items of work described in the bid document, provided further that all other qualification criteria are satisfied (in the same name) on works of a similar nature over the last five years. * Experience in works of similar nature and size for each of the last five years, and details of works underway or contractually committed. * The bidder should have completed at least one similar work of value not less than 50% of the estimated cost of the work, or two similar works each of value not less than 25% of the estimated cost of the work, or three similar works each of value not less than 15% of the estimated cost of the work, in the last five years. * The bidder should have a minimum of 10 years of experience in the field of civil engineering construction. * The bidder should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the specific type of work being bid on. * Average annual turnover of 40 percent of the value of contract/contracts applied for, over the last five years. * Experience in successfully completing or substantially completing at least one contract of highway (Road work including DBM, BC and construction of RCC Drain) work of at least 40 percent of the value of proposed contract within the last five years. * Substantially completed works means those works which are at least 90% completed as on the date of submission.
