The required prior work experience for the bidder includes having successfully completed a single work, which includes any RCC structure, within the last ten years. The experience requirements vary depending on the type of work and its estimated cost. For construction of civil structures except Water Treatment Plant (WTP) and Sewage Treatment Plant (STP), the bidder must have experience of having successfully completed a single work worth minimum 40% cost of major civil component included in the particular tender. Annual escalation at 5% (simple interest) will be allowed for the cost of works completed in the previous years. Specific experience requirements are mentioned for different types of works, including: - Construction of Water Treatment Plant upto 5 MLD output capacity: minimum 1 MLD output capacity - Construction of Water Treatment Plant above 5 MLD output capacity: minimum 40% output capacity subject to a maximum of 40MLD - Construction of water treatment Plant with modern technology: minimum 40% output capacity subject to a maximum of 40MLD and minimum 10% output capacity of the proposed treatment plant - Rehabilitation work of Water Treatment Plant: minimum 25% output capacity - O&M work of Water Treatment Plant: minimum 25% output capacity - Construction of Sewage Treatment Plant upto 5 MLD capacity: minimum 0.5 MLD capacity The values and percentages mentioned include: - 40% cost of major civil component - 5% annual escalation - 1 MLD output capacity - 40% output capacity - 40MLD maximum output capacity - 10% output capacity of the proposed treatment plant - 25% output capacity - 0.5 MLD capacity - 15% of annual turnover - 10% of the average annual estimated cost of the contract - Rs 54.41 Lakhs minimum net worth - 10% of the estimated cost for joint venture members' credit rating from a scheduled bank For works with an estimated cost from Rs.5 crores to Rs. 20 crores, the required experience is: - Works Manager: minimum 3 years experience - Site Engineer (supervision and quality control): minimum 1 year experience - Site Engineer (Civil Engineering Diploma holder): minimum 1 year experience - Supervisor (Mechanical): minimum 1 year experience For works with an estimated cost above Rs. 20 crores, the required experience is: - Works Manager: minimum 5 years experience - Site Engineer (supervision and quality control): minimum 3 years experience - Site Engineer (Civil Engineering Diploma holder): minimum 2 years experience - Supervisor (Mechanical): minimum 2 years experience No experience is insisted for any components of the work costing less than 10% of the TPAC. A bidder who has lagged in two or more works, for which Liquidated Damages (LD) were imposed in the ten year period prior to tender date, shall not be considered for pre-qualification.
