The bid capacity required is at least 30% of the COST OF WORK (without G.S.T) for average annual financial turnover, and not less than the estimated value of the work for annual financial turnover in civil works, adjusted for the current year at a 7% per annum rate. Alternatively, it can be calculated using the formula: Minimum Average Annual Turnover = (Estimated Value of Work * 30%) * (1 + 7%)^3 or Minimum Average Annual Turnover = 30% of the COST OF WORK, and Minimum Annual Turnover in Civil Works = Estimated Value of the Work (updated to the current year's price level at 7% per annum). Another formula provided is: Assessed available Bid capacity as per formula (2AN-B) should be greater than the Estimated Value of the work. Where: A = Maximum Value of Civil Engineering works executed in any one year during the last Five years ending 31st March of the previous financial year 2024 (updated by giving 8% simple weight age per year to bring them to Current Financial Year price level) taking into account the completed as well as works in progress. N = Number of years prescribed for completion of the works for which tenders are invited.(period up to 6 months to be taken as half-year and more than 6 months as one year). B = Value of existing commitments i.e. agreement works with agreement number & year and ongoing works with agreement number & year to be completed during the period of completion of the project for which tenders are invited. However, without specific values such as the estimated value of the work or the cost of the work, the exact bid capacity required cannot be precisely calculated.
