The required prior work experience for the bidder is related to the completion of similar works. The gross notional amount calculated from the Credential Certificate (CC) of a single similar work should be at least 30% of the amount put to tender. For Consortium/JV, the sum of gross notional value of work in respect of the CC of individual entities for works of similar nature should be at least 60% of the amount put to tender. The bidder must have satisfactorily completed at least one work of ‘similar in nature’ with a gross monetary value of Rs 1,34,76,005.00, which is 30% of the amount put to tender. For Consortium/JV, the minimum value is 60%, i.e., minimum of Rs 2,69,52,010.00. The major items that are considered for similarity include protection work, with a minimum gross notional value of 97,46,052.00, and Type-B Earthwork, with a minimum gross notional value of 82,21,954.00. These values should be at least 25% of the Tender BOQ or above. The bidder should have experience in works such as river/canal/pond/embankment/road/coastal protection using various materials, and should have successfully completed at least one similar project in nature. The average of gross annual turnover should be at least Rs 1,34,76,005.00 for individual bidders and Rs 4,04,28,015.00 for Consortiums or Joint Ventures.
