The German Institute of Human Nutrition (DIF) Potsdam-Rehbrücke conducts experimental and applied research in the field of nutrition and health. DIF intends to commission NGS DNA sequencing (96 samples). Human DNA samples are treated with a specially developed methylation panel from Twist Bioscience. The panel is 15kb in size and contains around 8000 methylation sites. These are each mapped with 4 uniform probes (fully methylated & fully unmethylated, as well as sense & antisense). We will then prepare an NGS library. The provider is to sequence this finished library for 96 samples, performing 2x150bp paired sequencing and achieving a minimum coverage of 300x. We expect the raw data, adapter-trimmed, quality-adjusted data and complete documentation to be sent to you. The data will be made available either on a hard drive provided by the provider or via a download link provided by the provider. Experience in handling libraries prepared using methylation panels from Twist Bioscience is required. Start of execution: Immediately after we have prepared the library.
