Description Terms Of Reference Tour Operator Services I. Title : Tourism Champions Challenge (tcc) Cebu Familiarization Night Tour For Top 15 Local Government Units Ii. Date : 18 January 2024 Iii. Venue : Cebu Tourist Destinations Iv. Background As One Of The Priority Projects Of Department Of Tourism (dot), The Tourism Champions Challenge (tcc) Is An Annual Process Of Invitation, Enhancement, Selection, And Execution For Tourism-related Projects Targeted To Enhance Destination Areas Of Local Government Units (lgus) Through Sustainable, Inclusive, And Resilient Tourism Strategies. It Aims To Enhance And Develop Local Tourism Destinations By Soliciting Project Concepts/ideas And Providing Technical Assistance Through The Conduct Of Capacity Building To Augment The Lgus’ Competence In Formulating, Developing, And Managing Projects, As Well As Support Excellent And Notable Tourism Projects. A Face-to-face Training Activity Was Conducted At Puerto Princesa City On 20 To 24 November 2023 To Enhance The Project Proposals Of The 15 Selected Lgus. Currently, The Lgus Are Working To Finalize Their Proposal, Presentation, And Other Requirements To Implement The Project. The Top 15 Lgus Will Be Presenting Their Final Presentation Of Project Proposals To The Tcc Committee And Invited Judges On 18 January 2024 In Cebu. This Will Be Followed By The Tcc Awarding Ceremony Of Top 5 Lgus Each From Luzon, Visayas & Mindanao On 19 January 2024. In Line With This, The Dot Office Of Special Concerns Is In Need On A Tour Operator To Provide, Arrange, And Coordinate The Identified Cebu Familiarization Night Tour In Cebu Province For 93 Lgu Participants And Guests During The Tourism Champions Challenge Activities In Cebu City. V. Objectives The Tourism Champions Challenge Aims To Augment The Lgus’ Capacity To Identify, Develop, And Enhance New And Potential Destinations In Their Locality To Promote Local Empowerment And Provide New Livelihood Opportunities For Their Communities. As The Tcc Final Activities Will Be Conducted In Cebu Province, One Of The Premier Tourist Destinations In The Country, It Is Practical And Recommended For The Lgus And Participants Of The Tcc To Visit The Tourist Destinations Of Cebu. The Cebu Familiarization Night Tour Has The Following Objectives: 1. Observe And Experience Cebu Tourist Destination Best Practices; 2. Identify Key Potential Products And Services That Participants Replicate In Their Respective Localities And Destinations; 3. Strengthen Collaboration, Partnership And Fellowship With Other Attending Lgus; And 4. Recognize Major Learnings, Challenges And Opportunities Related To Tourism. Vi. Itinerary Of The Night Tour The Cebu Familiarization Night Tour Which Will Be Conducted And Managed By The Tour Operator Together With Accredited Tour Guides In Cebu Will Have An Initial Orientation And Briefing On The Identified Tourist Destinations To Be Visited. Discussion On Few Reminders Related To The Safety, Security, Buddy-system And Other Issues Will Be Discussed In The Hotel Lobby Prior To The Start Of The Tour. Scope And Deliverable The Top 15 Lgus Together With Invited Guests And Participants During The Tcc Final Presentation Activity Will Be Invited To Participate In The Cebu Familiarization Night Tour In Different Premier Tourist Destinations In Cebu. The Tour Will Be Conducted During The Night Together With The Assistance Of Accredited Tour Guides And Manage By The Tour Operator To Experience Different Level Of Cebu Tourism Activities. Package Inclusions: - Cebu Familiarization Night Tour In The Following Destinations: Temple Of Leah, Tops Lookout Cebu, La Vie Parisienne, And 10k Roses - Buffet Dinner, Drinks, And Bottled Water In The Van - Entrance Fees / Government Fees / Parking Fees To All Tourist Destinations - Free Pick Up / Drop Off Within Cebu City - Air-conditioned Transportation Vans With Fuel And Driver - Tour Coordinators And Tour Guides Viii. Project Cost The Total Allocated Budget For The Abovementioned Cebu Familiarization Night Tour Is Five Hundred Eighty-eight Thousand Three Hundred Eighty Pesos (php588,380.00) Covering All Products And Services Related Expenses Including Taxes And Fees. Ix. Minimum Qualifications Of Service Provider 1. Must Be Dot - Accredited Tour Operator With Office/branch Based In Proximity To The Venue/location Of The Event To Ensure Mastery On Local Spatial Conditions, And On The Stakeholders Of The Tourism Value Chain In Region 7; 2.
