Cdfw Owns Most Of The Santa Rosa Plateau Ecological Reserve (srper) (~10,000 Acres) Which Is A Hotspot For Illegal Cannabis Grows In Southern California, With Twenty-two (22) Illegal Grow Sites Having Been Identified At Srper Since 1993. Illegal Grows Have Been Identified On Both Cdfw Property And Property Owned By Partner Agencies. Because Cdfw¿s Management Authority Calls For The Protection Of Resources On All Of Srper, The Scope Of This Contract Will Cover Illegal Grows Found On Cdfw Property And Properties Owned By Partner Entities. To Determine The Restoration Needs Of The Sites Impacted By Illegal Cannabis Grows, An Initial Assessment Must Be Performed At All Twenty-two (22) Historic Grow Sites Using A Drone. If Cannabis Impacts Are Still Observed At The Site, An In-person Assessment Must Be Performed To Provide Detailed Documentation Of The Impacts And Resources Present At The Site. If A Site Is Visited And Cannabis Impacts Are Non-existent Or Minimal, Any Trash That Is Found At The Site Will Be Removed.
