Advance Procurement Notice Commissioning Services Cfb Trenton, On (with Security Requirements) Purpose Of This Advance Procurement Notice This Is Not A Bid Solicitation. This Is An Advance Notice Of A Potential Contract With Anticipated Security Requirements To Provide Interested Consultants An Opportunity To Begin The Sponsorship Request Process For Potentially Obtaining The Required Security Clearance(s) That Are Anticipated. Note That There Is No Guarantee That This Contract Will Proceed Or That Any Security Clearance(s) Will Be Granted Under The Sponsorship Process In A Timely Fashion Or Otherwise. Description Of The Project And Services Defence Construction Canada (dcc) Will Be Calling For Abbreviated Proposals From Consulting Firms To Establish A Contract To Provide Commissioning Services Specific To Department Of National Defence (dnd) Canadian Forces Base (cfb) Trenton Requirements For New Building Construction. The Objective Will Be To Select One (1) Firm Who Will Be Awarded A Contract To Support The Quinte West Training Centre Estimated At $1.8m Over Approximately 6 Years. There Is Potential To Add Up To Four (4) Projects Valued At An Additional $3.05m Over The Next Approximately 9 Years. The Commissioning Services Will Include The Provision Of Systematic Verification, Documentation, And Training Process Applied To All Activities During The Design, Construction, Static Verification, Start-up, And Functional Performance Testing Of Equipment And Systems In A Facility To Ensure That The Facility Operates In Conformity With The Owner’s Project Requirements And The Basis Of Design In Accordance With The Contract Documents. Commissioning Can Also Extend To Post Occupancy And Seasonal Testing As Well As Warranty Reviews. It Is Anticipated That This Solicitation Will Be Initiated In Fall 2024 On Condition Of Approval. Contract Award And Anticipated Security Requirements In Order To Be Eligible For Contract Award, A Consultant Will Be Required To, Among Other Things, Actively Hold All Required Security Clearance(s) At The Time Of Closing, As Further Detailed In The Solicitation Documents.
