The City Is Requesting Quotes For The Supply And Delivery Of A New Combination Vacuum Truck For Expected Delivery No Later Than 8-12 Months Upon Issuance Of A Purchase Order. The Unit Will Be Administered, Maintained, And Repaired By The City’s Fleet Department; However, The Selected Proponent Must Be Capable Of Performing Warranty Work Or Repairs When And If Required. The Term Of The Agreement Is To Be For A Period Of Three (3) Years, With An Option In Favour Of The City To Extend The Agreement On The Same Terms And Conditions For An Additional Term Of Up To Two (2) Years As One (1) Increment. While The City’s Future Requirements For Combination Vacuum Trucks Remain Somewhat Uncertain And Are Not Guaranteed At This Time, The City Reserves The Right To Negotiate With The Successful Proponent For Additional Units During The Term Of The Agreement, If And When Required. Purchase Is Subject To Budget Approval And Operational Needs. It Is Anticipated That This May Occur In 2028 Or 2029.
