Objective The Board Of Investments (boi) Is An Attached Agency Of The Department Of Trade And Industry (dti) Which Is The National Government Agency Responsible For The Promotion Of Investments- Both Foreign And Domestic. It Is Governed By Executive Order No. 226, Also Known As The Omnibus Investments Code Of 1987. The Agency Envisions Itself As A Global Investment Promotion Agency (ipa) Accelerating Investments, Developing Globally-competitive, Innovative, And Sustainability-driven Industries, Thereby Creating Employment Opportunities. The Agency Strives To Position The Philippines As A Smart And Sustainable Hub For Manufacturing And Services. The Boi International Investments Promotion Service (iips) Partakes In Achieving The Agency’s Goal Of Accelerating Foreign Direct Investments Thru Various Programs Such As Organizing Inbound And Outbound Missions, Conducting Investment Roadshows, Facilitating Presidential Visits, Business-to-business Meetings, And Many More Efforts To Boost Foreign Direct Investments. Terms Of Payments The Payment Shall Be Made 15 Days Upon Full Delivery Of The Items Through Land Bank’s Lddap-ada/bank Transfer. Bank Transfer Fee Shall Be Charged Against The Creditor’s Account If Any. Vi. Penalty Clause If The Supplier Fails To Satisfactorily Deliver Any Or All Of The Goods And/or Perform The Services Within The Period Specified In The Contract Inclusive Of Duly Granted Time Extensions If Any, The Boi Shall Impose Liquidated Damages At Least Equal To One Tenth Of One Percent (.001%) Of The Cost The Unperformed Portion For Every Day Of Delay Until Actual Delivery Of Performance. Vii. Contract Termination The Boi May, At Any Given Time, Terminate The Contract For Breach Of Any Of The Provisions Thereof And Other Legal Causes Nu Serving A Written Notice To The Other Party At Least Fifteen (15) Days Before The Intended Date Of Termination. Viii. Contract Duration The Winning Bidder Shall Deliver The Items Within A Period Of Twenty-five (25) Working Days From Receipt Of Notice To Proceed. Ix. Reservation Clause The Boi Reserves The Right To Reject Documents Which Do Not Comply With The Requirements, Waive Any Formalities Of Documents Or Consider Any Submission Of Documents As Substantial Compliance Reject Any And All Bids; Declare A Failure Of Bidding, Annul The Bidding Process, Or Not To Award The Contact With Out There By Incurring And Liability To The Affected Bidder Or Bidders Or If The Funds/allotment For The Program/project/activity Has Been Withheld Or Reduced Through No Fault Of The Boi.
