The required prior work experience for the bidder includes satisfactorily completing works under Central Govt./ State Govt. organization/ Central Public Sector Undertaking within the country during the last 7 years. The required prior work experience can be in the form of: - Three similar works each costing not less than 40% of the estimated cost of the project - Two similar works each costing not less than 50% of the estimated cost of the project - One similar work costing not less than 80% of the estimated cost of the project The "Similar Work" is defined as Construction of Residential/ Non-Residential/ Institutional building Project(s) comprising Construction of a RCC framed structure having minimum one Storey or Completing balance Construction work of one building (including finishing works, water supply, drainage & sanitary installations, electrical works etc.) all composite executed under one project. No specific value or percentage of similar works completed is mentioned, but the bidder is required to provide details of the cost of work in Rs. in Crores. However, for evaluation of experience, 60% marks are for minimum eligibility criteria and 100% marks for twice the minimum eligibility criteria or more, with pro-rata basis for in between. Additionally, the bidder's average annual turnover and solvency are considered, with a minimum solvency of 40% of the estimated cost put to tender, or a net-worth certificate of minimum 10% of the estimated cost put to tender, and the bidding capacity of the contractor should be equal to or more than Rs. 2,46,81,038.00/-.
