The bidder should have prior work experience in similar nature of works completed during the last seven years. The experience requirements are as follows: (i) Three similar works each costing not less than 40% of the estimated cost of the project OR (ii) Two similar works each costing not less than 50% of the estimated cost of the project OR (iii) One similar work costing not less than 80% of the estimated cost of the project. The bidder should have satisfactorily completed similar works under Central Govt./ State Govt. organization/ Central Public Sector Undertaking within the country during the last 7 years. The details of eligible similar nature of works completed should include name of work, owner, cost of work, date of commencement, stipulated date of completion, actual date of completion, and any pending litigation or arbitration cases. The performance of works for time overrun and quality shall be taken on the basis of performance report of the eligible similar works. The bidder should furnish details of works completed in the last seven years, including the cost of work in Rs. in Crores. The bidder's experience and capability to successfully complete the envisaged work should be established through references, information, and certificates from respective clients. For evaluation of experience in similar class of work, 60% marks are allocated for minimum eligibility criteria, 100% marks for twice the minimum eligibility criteria or more, and pro-rata basis for in between. The bidder should have completed similar works, but specific values and percentages of similar works completed are not mentioned, except for the evaluation criteria and the experience requirements mentioned above.
