Experiences Will Be Designed To Appeal To Visitors Between October And March. This Will Extend The Tourist Season And Bring In Money To The Local Economy. In Order To Provide Appeal To Visit Norfolk In The Autumn And Winter Months, The Experience Project Is Commissioning 5 Works Of Art To Be Placed In Strategic Locations Around The County.

Norfolk County Council Are Seeking To Appoint Contractors To A Dynamic Purchasing System ("dps") For The Provision Of Infrastructure Maintenance For Its Public Rights Of Way And Trails Network. The Requirement Will Be Split Into 3 Lots As Follows: Lot 1 - Surfacing And Drainage This Lot Covers Delivering A Range Of Access Improvements Across The Network, Including Installation Of Individual Drainage Schemes On Routes That Have Been Identified In Order To Better Manage Increasing Amounts Of Surface Water. In Addition, This Lot Includes The Installation Of Improved Surfacing On Routes. This Is Likely To Be Hard Surfaces Which Are To Deliver Access Improvements For All Users Including People With Access Issues, Cyclists And Horse Riders. Each Of The Schemes Will Have Specific Deliverables Targeted At Overall Access Improvements. Lot 2 - Countryside Construction This Lot Covers Smaller Scale Projects And Will Include The Construction And Installation Of A Range Of Countryside Furniture To Improve Access For All Users To The Network. This Is Likely To Include: Gates, Boardwalks, Steps, Bridleway Steps, Benches, And Specific Individual Projects. Lot 3 - Signage And Waymarking This Lot Covers The Installation Of Signage And Waymarking On The Network. The Signage Usually Used Across The Network Is Timber Finger Posts And Waymarkers And There Will Be Specific Deliverables Within Each Signage Project All Of Which Will Be Detailed Within Each Individual Call For Competition.

Norfolk County Council Has Established A Multi Supplier Framework Agreement For The Provision Of Supported Living Accommodation And Support. This Application Is For The Second Round Of Opening Of Lot 3 - Mental Health And Is For Providers To Support People With Complex And Enduring Mental Health. This Framework For Mental Health Supported Living Is Part Of A Wider Piece Of Work For Commissioners With Our Market And Partners To Establish Clearer Recovery Pathways And Options For People With Serious Mental Health Problems. We Want To Support More People To Live Independently. Successful Providers For Lot 3 Will Provide Supported Living Care And Support Packages For Individuals To Enable Them To Live In The Community With Support. Norfolk County Council Envisages Developing Different Types Of Housing-based Provision For Adults With Mental Health Problems. In Some Schemes The Nature Of Support Will Be Oversight, Practical And Emotional Support. Other Schemes May Require The Provision Of Personal Care And For Such Schemes The Provider May Need To May Need To Register That Scheme With Cqc.

Norfolk County Council Is Working In Partnership With Broadland District Council To Deliver A Series Of Surfacing And Infrastructure Improvements Along The Bure Valley Path Between Aylsham And Wroxham. This Scheme Will Be Funded Via Interreg (france Channel England) And Delivered Through Experience. This Tender Is Seeking To Award A Contract For Infrastructure And Re-surfacing Works On The Bure Valley Path. This Is A 9-mile (14 Km) Rural Walking And Cycling Trail In Norfolk, England. It Runs Alongside The Bure Valley Railway, A Narrow-gauge Heritage Railway Running From Wroxham To Aylsham. The Contact Is For The Delivery Of Infrastructure Works To Make Significant Improvements To Sections Six Sections Of The 9-mile Walking And Cycling Path. The Approximate Length Of Total Re-surfacing Required Will Be 3000 Metres. The Contract Of Works Will Include Widening, Levelling And Re-surfacing Of The Path With The Successful Contractor Suppling And Transporting Materials To Site. The Contract Also Includes The Installation Of Heritage Infrastructure (gates, Fencing And Seating), Mile Markers And Gateway Arches.
