The Administrative Department of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science is the secretary on behalf of the other participating service units within the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science. The OCW Administrative Department consists of an Administrative Department (hereinafter: BD) and ten service units positioned outside it. The Administrative Department develops policy in the areas of education, culture and science. Not All Ten Service Components of the OCW Do not belong to the Scope of this Tender. The BD together with the service units referred to below: Advisory Council for Science, Technology and Innovation The Advisory Council for Science, Technology and Innovation (hereinafter: AWTI) advises the Government and Parliament on the policy for scientific research, technological development and innovation. Knowledge, research and innovation are important in all policy areas. The AWTI provides solicited and unsolicited advice and has an independent position towards the Ministries of Education, Culture and Science, Economic Affairs and the parties in the field. Education Implementation Service Education Implementation Service (hereinafter: DUO) is the central government's implementation organization for education. Duo finances and informs educational participants and educational institutions and organizes examinations. This is how Duo makes good education possible. Main tasks: Duo, as a revenue and expenditure department, implements educational laws and regulations on behalf of the Minister of Education, Culture and Science. On behalf of the Ministry of the Interior and Kingdom Relations, Duo supports municipalities in the implementation of the Civic Integration Act. And on behalf of the Ministry of Social Affairs and Employment, Duo supports the municipalities and GGDs with implementation tasks in the field of childcare and playgroups. Council for Culture The Council for Culture (hereinafter: Supervisory Board) is the statutory advisory body to the government and Parliament in the field of art, heritage and media. The Council is independent and advises - solicited and unsolicited - on current policy issues and subsidy applications. National Cultural Heritage Agency The National Cultural Heritage Agency (hereinafter: RCE) is the policy, implementation and research organization of the Dutch Ministry of Education, Culture and Science in the Field of Cultural Heritage: Archaeology, Monuments, Movable Heritage and Cultural Landscape. The Rce aims to protect and preserve monumental, archaeological, movable and cultural landscape values of national or international importance. The Service implements the Heritage Act on behalf of the Minister and manages the Monument Register and the Archaeological Information System (archis).
