Desilting of road side drains of all types/sumps/culverts by Super Sucker Machine having minimum suction capacity 4000 cum/hour at 80% vaccum in atleast 2 nos. chasis mounted dumped tanks having minimum capacity 10cum. The operation should be video graphed with GPS enabled video camera for entire stretch of the drain cleaned in each operation and keeping record and submission to Engineer-in-Charge in three sets of CD's. The operation shall include :- (i) Supply of materials, Labour and T&P, temporary power connection with stand by generators sets of capacity atleast 62.5 KVA. (ii) Arrangement of gas detector, forced air ventilator etc. wherever required (iii) Arrangement of all safety measures as per provision/guidelines as per IS:11972-1987 and international standards (iv) Arrangement of all traffic control devices, traffic approval wherever required, barricading, display of signboards, insurance of labour, (v) removal of all hindrances/destructions, unseen items, permission from other departments (Departments will only assist in getting the permission etc.) cutting bituminous road, excavation, demolishing of brick work, cement concrete, RCC wherever required and restoring the same all inclusive (Nothing extra shall be payable) (vi) observing all norms/guidelines of National Green Tribunal or Department of Environment or other statuary body as per the law of land (vii) maintain all standard of health, hygiene and cleanliness. & disposal of morrum/building rubbish/malba/similar unserceable, dismantled or waste material by mechanical transport including loading, transporting, unloading at any approved municipal dumping ground for all leads & lifts, complete as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.

(Note : 1. After completion of both operation, the Agency will maintain it upto 4 months, if any blockage found after both operation at any location, then it will be cleaned by the agency on priority within 24 hours without any payment) 2. Only 70% payment will be released after complte desilting of drains & balance 30% will be released after satisfactory maintenance of desilte drain. 3. Quantities will be worked out by two methods: i) Pre measuring the silt in the drains. ii) Quantities of silt/malba etc deposited in MCD dumping ground wilh authorised weight slip but payment will be made for the quantities which ever is less of the above two. 4. MCD Tax (dumping charges) processing fee will be paid by the contractor which shall be reimbursed by the department on submission of related MCD Receipt

Desilting of storm water drain such as covered drain / RCC Box Drain / Brick Masonry Drain / Bell Mouth by excavating earth mixed with silt rubbish sludge or manure, brick bats, stone, malba, grit, boulders, organic or inorganic substances etc. manually or mechanically and getting out the same including opening and refixing in proper postition the RCC/SFRC cover slabs. The rate are inclusive of all operations mentioned above including road safety measures necessary for execution of the work complete as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.
