Providing and erecting a "W" metal beam crash barrier comprising of 3mm thick corrugated sheet metal beam rail, 85cm above road/ground level, fixed on ISMC series channel vertical post, 150 x 75 x 5mm spaced 2m center to center, 2m high with 1.15m below ground level, all steel parts and fitments to be galanised by hot dip process, all fittings to conform to IS: 1367 and IS: 1364, metal beam rail to be fixed on the vertical post with a space of channel section 150 x 75 x 5mm, 546mm long complete as per clause 810

Plant Mix Method (Construction of granular sub-base by providing close graded Material, mixing in a mechanical mix plant at OMC, carriage of mixed Material to work site, spreading in uniform layers with motor grader on prepared surface and compacting with vibratory power roller to achieve the desired density, complete as per MORTH clause 401) - Grading II 1st & 2nd Layer

Providing, laying, spreading and compacting graded stone aggregate to wet mix macadam specification including premixing the Material with water at OMC in mechanical mix plant carriage of mixed Material by tipper to site, laying in uniform layers with paver in sub- base / base course on well prepared surface and compacting with vibratory roller to achieve the desired density. WMM 1st Layer & 2nd Layer as per MORTH Clause : 406

Providing, Applying, Evenly Priming Tack Coat on WMM surface with Emulsion SS1 @ 9 Kg / 10 Sqm including cost asphalt, heating and the cost of spraying uniformly complete as directed as per MORTH Clause

Providing and Laying compacted dense graded bituminious macadam as per MORTH Clause: 505 (DBM) Grade-2 in single layer using 100-120 TPH batch type HMP producing an average output of 75 tonnes per hour, tack coat at the rate of 2.5 Kg / 10 m2 in each using crushed aggregates of specified grading premixed with bituminious content @ 4.5% (VG-40) by weight of total mix and filler, transporting the hot mix to work site laying with a hydrostatic paver finisher with sensor control with minimum road width or as directed by Engineer in charge to the required grade, level and alignment, rolling with smooth wheeled vibratory and tandem rollers to achieve the desired compaction as per MORT&H specification etc complete in all respects. The agency shall have to get the mix design done from approved laboratory and submit to the Engineer in charge for Approval. If the asphalt (bituminious) content is more than above, the agency shall have to bear the cost of additional asphalt. The payment shall be done on the permissible field density achieved on the ite instead of density derieved in the mix design. (Assume density = 2.45 gms / cm3)

Providing and Laying Bituminious Concrete with 100-120 TPH batch type hot mix plant producing an average output of 75 tonnes per hour capacity using crushed aggregates of specified grading, premixed with bituminous binder @ 5.4% (VG-40) of mix and filler, transporting the hot mix to work site, laying with a hydrostatic paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade, level and alignment, rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem rollers to achieve the desired compaction as per MORTH specification clause no 507 complete in all respects.

Providing and laying Hot applied Thermoplastic compound 2.5mm thick including Reflectorising Glass Beads @ 250gms per sqm area, thickness of 2.5mm is exclusive of surface applied glass beads as per IRC: 35 & finished surface to be level, uniform and free from streaks and holes.

Providing and fixing of road stud 100x100 mm, die cast in aluminium, resistant to corrosive effect of salt and grit, fitted with lense reflectors, installed in concrete or asphaltic surface by drilling hole 30mm up to a depth of 60mm and bedded in a suitable bituminous grout or epoxy mortar all as per BS 873 part 4: 1973

Providing weep holes in Reinforced concrete with 100 mm dia AC pipe, extending through the full width of the structure with slope of 1V:1H towards drawing face. Complete as per drawing and technical specifications

Regulatory/Mandatory signs :Providing and fixing sing boards made out of 2mm aluminium sheet; size 60cms. diameter circle as per the design of IRC-67-1977 pre treated with phospheting process & acid eteching; coated with one coat of epoxy primer and two coats of best quality epoxy paint; reflectorised with retro refiective sheeting as per latest M.O.S.T. Specifications; 3.1m long stand post and frame fabricated from suitable size iron angle of 35 x 35 x 3mm 75x75x6mm as required; painted with best quality epoxy coatings in black and white bends. the details of symbol for each board shall be as per the instruction of engineer in charge. The fixing at site shall be in 1:2:4 CC block of size 45 x 45 x 60cms. for each leg. including excavation curing etc. complete under the supervision of engineer in charge.(B)High Intensity Grade .....................

Providing and laying Pitching on Slopes laid over prepared Filter Media including boulder apron laid dry in front of toe of emabnkment complete as per drawing and technical specification

Applying two coats of Birla white putty & two coats of primer of approved brand and manufature on new wall surface to give an even shade including thoroughly brushing the surface free from mortar dropping and other foreign matter and sand papered smooth.

Painting two coats after filling the surface with synthetic eanmel paint in all shades on new plastered concrete surfaces.

Construction of precast RCC railling of M35 grade, aggregate size not exceeding 12 mmm, true to line and grade, tolerance of verticle RCC post not to exceed 1 in 500, centre to centre spacing between vertcle post not to exceed 200 mmm, leaving adequate space between verticle post for expansion, complete as per approved ,drawing and technical specification.

Providing and casting in-situ M35 grade controlled cement concrete in kerb,railing using 6mm to 20mm machine crushed well graded stone aggregate, sand of approved quality, OPC53 grade cement with contractor's own concrete mix design as approved by Authority, etc. complete as per specification. Providing and casting in -situ controlled cement concrete of M 40 grade for Crash barrier with 20 mm down coarse aggregate of the required size including formwork, shuttering, placing in position, consolidation with mechanical vibrators curing finishing, deshuttering carefully, marking good the damages, fixing embedment, inserts, pockets, wherever necessary as directed and as per drawing with F3 type exposed concrete finish and formwork as directed by Engineer - in -charge, etc. complete as per specification

Providing and placing in position Fe 500D TMT bar reinforcement including cutting, bending and tying complete as per drawings. (A) RCC superstructure

Providing and fixing in position Strip Seal Type Expansion Joint (for movement upto 70mm) as per detailed drawing MORTH specification. The rate is inclusive of supplying, fixing with contractor's own materials, equipments, machineries, labour, transport, testing, bolts, socket tubes, neoprene sheet/cap etc. complete. The rate is finished item complete and will be paid after fixing in all respect. The Contractor shall procure Strip Seal Expansion Joint, confirming to relevant MORTH specification from M/s.Sanfield (India) Ltd. / METCO or from reputed manufactures of Strip Seal Expansion Joint with prior approval of Engineer-in-charge.
