The required prior work experience for the bidder includes having achieved a minimum annual financial turnover of 67% of the DNIT value in any one year. They should have also satisfactorily completed at least one similar work of value not less than 1/3 of the DNIT value, with a completion rate of not less than 90% of the contract value. Additionally, the bidder should have executed in any one year, the minimum quantities of the major items of work, usually not less than 40% of the estimated quantity. The value of similar work is 1/3rd of the respective value of work, and it should not be less than one third of the contract value. The bidder should have completed works of a similar nature and size for each of the last five years. The annual financial turnover amount should be 67% of the DNIT value in any one year of the respective value of work. The bidder should also provide information on the total monetary value of civil construction work performed for each of the last five years. A minimum cash investment of up to 25% of the value of the work during implementation of the Contract is required. For specific roles, the experience required is: - Project Manager: 3 to 5 years of experience after completing B.E. Civil - Site Engineer: 1 year of experience after completing B.E. Civil, or 3 years of experience after completing a Diploma in Civil Engineering - Plant Engineer: 1 year of experience after completing B.E. Mech, or 5 years of experience after completing a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering - Quantity Surveyor: 1 year of experience after completing B.E. Civil, or 5 years of experience after completing a Diploma in Civil Engineering The bidder must submit a certificate of similar nature of work done, completed in the last 5 years, and a certificate of executed quantities of work done in the last 5 years. They must also submit a list of existing commitments with the value of remaining work and an audited balance sheet of the last 5 years. The cost of completed works of previous years shall be given weightage of 10% per year based on rupee value to bring them to the present price level, with escalation factors provided for works completed in previous years.
