The required prior work experience for the bidder includes: - Three similar works each costing not less than 40% of the estimated cost of the project - Two similar works each costing not less than 50% of the estimated cost of the project - One similar work costing not less than 80% of the estimated cost of the project. The estimated cost put to tender for the construction of the Police Station Building is Rs. 2,90,28,099.00/-. The bidder should have satisfactorily completed works under Central Govt./ State Govt. organization/ Central Public Sector Undertaking within the country during the last 7 years. "Similar Work" shall mean Construction of Residential/ Non-Residential/ Institutional building Project(s) comprising Construction of a RCC framed structure having minimum One Storey or Completing balance Construction work of one building (i/c structural work) minimum up to one storey (machine room and mumty shall not be counted as a story) including finishing works, water supply, drainage & sanitary installations, electrical works etc. all composite executed under one project. The evaluation criteria for experience in similar class of work is 20 marks, with 60% marks for minimum eligibility criteria, 100% marks for twice the minimum eligibility criteria or more, and pro-rata basis for in between. The bidder should furnish a list of all works of similar nature successfully completed during the last Seven years. The bidder is required to provide details of eligible similar nature of works completed during the last seven years ending on the previous day of the last date of submission of the tender. The cost of work is required to be mentioned in Rs. in Crores. The bidder must have completed works with an estimated cost put to tender of more than Rs. 5 Lakh for certain materials. The permissible variation for cement is 2% plus/minus, and for bitumen, it is 2.5% plus only and nil on the minus side. The recovery rates for quantities beyond permissible variation are also specified, with NIL recovery for excess beyond permissible variation for certain items like cement and reinforcement bars.
