1 Limited Tender Enquiry 9(OHC)/19-20 22/03/2019 To Dear Sir, Sealed Tenders are invited for the work of “Wagon cleaning/Part loads unloading at VPT/EVTL, OHC and transportation of unloaded Iron ore Fines to NMDC stockpiles and high stacking of material” with the following General terms & Conditions as per Annexure-I. Sealed offers should be addressed to Regional Manager, NMDC Ltd., Khanij Bhavan, Port Area, Visakhapatnam – 530 035 so as to reach on or before 16/04/2019 at 1500 hrs. and which will be opened on the same day 1530 hrs. You can depute your representative by giving authorization letter to witness the opening of tenders. SCHEDULE: Sl.No. Description of work Unit Approx. Qty Rate/Wagon or Tone (Rs.) Amount 1. Loading, transportation of unloaded iron ore fines from the above unloading point to VPT/EVTL//NMDC stockpiles and high stacking of material in NMDC stockpile. Ton 200 Tons In Rupees (…………..………………………………………………………………………only) (The above quoted price is inclusive of all taxes except GST. GST will be paid extra as per actual on the above quoted price) 2 Annexure-I GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS 1. Scope of work:- A. For item S.No. 1 i.e. Iron Ore Wagon Cleaning/Part Load Unloading:- i. The contractor has to unload the iron ore fines left over in the mechanically tippled wagons. The material is to be unloaded completely from the wagon. ii. Contractor has to arrange the wagon cleaning immediately after receipt of verbal communication over phone/written communication from NMDC office. iii. The work is to be completed within 12 hours from the time of communication received from NMDC office. iv. The material is to be unloaded completely from the wagons for handing over the wagons to VPT/EVTL// Railways. v. Payment will be released on the basis of number of wagons unloaded. B. For item S.No. 2: Transportation of material: i. The contractor has to shift the above material from the unloading point to suitable loading point and to load the material into suitable trucks / tractors for transportation of material to VPT/EVTL/ NMDC stockpiles. ii. The contractor has to transport the material from the above unloading point to VPT/EVTL/ NMDC stockpiles through trucks/tractor. iii. Unloading the material from truck/tractor at VPT/EVTL/ NMDC stockpiles. iv. High stacking of unloaded material at NMDC stockpiles to make the material shippable through reclaimer. v. Tractor/truck weighment is to be done at NMDC approved Weigh Bridge. Quantity handled will be arrived based on the weigh bridge slips. Weighment charges will be borne by the contractor. 2. Schedule of rates:- Tenderers should quote all-inclusive rate (including all taxes & duties except GST) and the rate quoted by tenderer in the Price Bid should be firm and fixed for the entire duration of contract. GST (if applicable) shall be paid extra. Rates should be quoted in figures as well as in words. For calculating L1 firm, the total value of 02 items in the price bid will be considered. 3. The work is to be done strictly in accordance with specifications given in schedule and as per the instructions of the officer-in-charge of the Dock office from time to time. 4. The contract period will be for a period of one year from the date of work order. 5. The tenderer should submit a self-attested and stamped copy of the following documents :- a) The tenderer should submit a copy of valid PF code number duly allotted by any RPFC. In case the bidder does not possess valid PF code number, then the bidder has to give an undertaking on a non-judicial stamp paper as per Annexure-II of value not less than Rs.
