M&L for earthing complete with GI earth plate electrode of size 600mmx600mmx6.15mm thick buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25m deep below the normal ground level) with top edge of the earth plate not less than 1.5m below normal ground level connected to 4mm dia GI earth wire as earth lead connected by means of bolts, nuts, washers and check nuts made out of galvanised iron or steel all as shown on electrical plate No. 3 of SSR Part-I connected to common earth dolly including testing on completion complete all as specified and directed.
NOTES: (1) The unit rate shall also include for earth work in any type of soil, PCC (1:3:6) type C1 chamber, pre-cast RCC (1:2:4) type B-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate cover 50mm thick reinforced with TMT bars 8mm dia @ 100mm c/c both ways, funnel with watering pipe 20mm dia GI medium grade, GI protection pipe light grade 40mm dia and wire mesh complete in addition to item No. 1(a) to (e) of preamble (notes) under sub-heading earthing, specified on Sl. Page Nos. 422 & 423 of SSR Part-II. (2) Earthing lead and GI protection pipe beyond 7.5m will be measured and paid separately.
