Scope of Work: 1) Removal of covers and guards etc of hoist drum assembly. 2) Complete cleaning of assembly and adjoining area. 3) Opening and removal of bearing caps etc. 4) Dismantling of roof. 5) Dismantling of complete hoist system. 6) Cutting a window in side plate to access the crack. 7) Repairing of pedestal foundation and revolving frame cracks by "V" groove making and welding. 8) Fabrication and welding of new plate to close the access window. 9) Assembling of LHS and RHS pedestals. 10) Repairing of Hoist intermediate shaft bearing housings ( LHS and RHS) by Undercutting , re-building and line boring to bearing size for proper alignment. 11) Re-fitting of hoist drum assembly and other allied sub-assemblies. 12) Alignment of hoist machinery system. 13) Re-fitting of covers and guards etc. 14) Dismantling of chains, removal of broken lower roller and fitting of new rollers ( both LHS and RHS) 1 No. each side. and 15) Fabrication of cover / guard of clutch assembly. Note : All steel material , welding and gauging electrodes , Industrial gases , Electrical power supply and Crane as per requirement will be provided by NCL.
